It seems to me that Ellison is rapidly losing credibility. He keeps dreaming up these standards/devices to get around Microsoft, it is pretty much a personal vendetta at this point. Maybe he should fly his personal jet fighter more often to blow off steam instead!! John Oracle is just now recovering from some bad blown quarters, and I bet it's partly because Ellison has been paying less attention to what is going on inside his company than to bad mouthing Microsoft and trying to dream up ways to hurt them. At least McNealy seems to have Sun humming along (for now).
