John,

I must admit that there is a lot of bashing going on on both sides of the fence. Quite honestly though, I do not see posts such as "CPQ -7/8, I feel much better now" over on the Dell thread. This obsession with wanting to see Dell's stock price decline puzzles me. What do these posters stand to gain, unless they are shorting the stock.

As for JK's comments, I was pretty pissed myself at EP when the news of the channel stuffing came out. This not too long after they declared business was great, and a 3 for 2 split. As the WSJ stated, CPQ have some fences to mend after misguiding analysts a year ago. I think JK's point is that CPQ's management has been less that honest with the investment community, and until they can prove otherwise, their comments and outlook should be taken with a grain of salt.

I'm not trying to pick a fight with anyone. I just think that if we try to remain focused on the stocks we own, we may end up making a few bucks.

Happy Investing.

Kevin

P.S. I do appreciate your presence on the Dell thread, along with Rudedog's. Helps keep us on our toes.
