Actually, and it pains me to say this, Cramer was completely correct when he surmised the entire enterprise software sector (including the apps companies) were going down after the march qtr informix numbers earlier this year. I thought he was wrong and watched my applications stocks sebl, itwo etc rise for about another 2 months and then - catastrophe. I dont know about other sectors but in software Cramer has been more right than wrong. That said, the sql server threat to Orcl is old news - pre-8i and DOJ. I havent heard anything about sql server at all - and I was expecting a huge push coordinated with Dell.
