Dead on arrival? Remember Ellison's (Oracle) NetPC(?) from couple of years ago,wonder what happened to that? Mind you this is is just an announcement,as you know reality is a long way from cheap talk based on spite,I am not saying this won't work but I need to see it first. I have a feeling this announcement has a lot to do with hatred for Gates and Microsoft and less to do with any business strategy,a la Compaq's strategy to go direct as an affront on DELL at the risk of losing established business relationship (and business) with Resellers. Any business strategy based entirely on pure spite is doomed to fail. Of course this is just my opinion and I reserve the right to be wrong as always.<g>
