I have been watching the impeachemnt hearings fiasco for much of this weekend. I don't think it's the President who is taking the country down but the Republicans who insist on pressing the issue of impeachment. What he did was wrong and morally bad but it is not something to impeach him on. He should be punished but impeaching him and vertually shutting down the government for all of this time is ludicrous. The republicans know he will never be removed from office but they want to brand him for getting impeached. WHY?
Because they don't want any democrat to go down in histroy as being a good president.
I am a republican and have always voted that way but that might change. The republicans are doing what is right for them and not what is right for the country. The country comes before any political party or the fact the some president got a few BJ's in the whitehouse.

Sorry to vent but it is the weekend and the markets are closed
