Clinton is unique in his belief in polls? I find that a dubious assertion. Lying about why a foreign invasion took place is somehow more politically palatable than lying about personal things most people really don't want to know about? Because it was "for the good of the country"? Clinton shouldn't have lied in the Jones case, but his testimony was ruled inadmissible and the whole case is moot at this point. Personally, I don't think it was good for the country that Richard Scaife Mellon was funding the various scandal digging efforts that led to the whole Paula Jones thing in the first place. I think political harassment of a sitting president via civil litigation is a bad idea.

If you want to keep flogging your own personal innuendo about every past Clinton scandal, that's your right. Travelgate was exceedingly small potatoes compared to my personal favorite federal scandal, the S&L bailout. As was Whitewater. As for the filegate "blackmail", if any such thing took place, why hasn't anybody come forward? It would be an exceedingly rich way to get revenge, don't you think?

So, you don't like Clinton. I don't particularly, either. Personal dislike is not a good cause for impeachment. The civil perjury may be, but many disagree. Cover up, it all seems pretty slight compared to the Iran-contra cover up that never ended, but that's just my opinion.
