Cheeky, you did not really answer my questions, which were: 1) What is the difference between a "true alarmist" and a "Y2K cultist"? and 2) What did Bill Ounce say to qualify him as a "true alarmist"? And what exactly (a new question) is a "Y2Ker"?

Seems to me you need to define your terms.

By the way, when people speak of "extremists", it is usually assumed there are two extremes. One extreme, of course, would be the "doomsayers" aka "YTK cultists". What is the other extreme? Anti-Y2K cultists? Anti-hysteria hysterics? Dogmatic naysayers? What?

P.S. I have no position on any of these matters myself. Just began looking into the Y2K issue a week ago. But fair is fair.
