By the way if people in Congress are being blackmailed, it is because they are being blackmailed that they are not coming forward. That is the only sentence in your post that, if you will excuse me, is really stupid. THat's what black mail is about!

Right. Starr knew how to leak pretty good, but don't you think he couldn't have kept something like that in confidence if someone had come forward? What, exactly, could have been in those files that would be worse than what's come out about Clinton? This stuff about how there must have been blackmail is pretty tautological. Whatever was in those files was known by Starr, don't you think? Couldn't he have gone directly to anyone who had something juicy in the files and ask if it came up? Or would that be too sophisticated a technique for him?

As I said, the argument that people "must have been blackmailed" is innuendo, nothing more. It's your right to keep flogging it, but maybe you ought to take Rush's advice and move on.
