Well I've been online since before there was a WEB and prefer AOL. ----------------------- Well I know a few old timers on AOL..and they have their reasons, But by and large the vast majority of AOL users are "Nubies".. agree with all the junk thing on the www..my problem with AOL is it's slowness, and getting a connection..and they were bad about billing ..BTW this is not the first time they have been sued, they had to settel last time..this time it could lead to criminal charges.. with about 206,000 connections they did a drive to get 7.5 m hookups..the 8 m was over stated..and the 7.5 inculded all the free 50 hr disks they sent out..lot of good that was if all you get is a busy signal..and a message to go to help, which u can't get if your not on line..<G> so they say they will put in more modems..like double the amount they have..that still wont near take care of the overload..let alone any new ones they get..if you are not having problems good..but you are one of the few.. nothing personal but I don't like AOL..and when they came into the web..is when the web started getting junked up.. AOL gave our PC club a hard time back in the 80ts, and we had to turn to genie..and in mho their arrogant attitude has not changed since. I consider AOL a rip off for the vast majority of users but I hope you continue to be satified with them. jim
