What annoys me??!!
Callers to CSPAN that don't think Clinton should be impeached because of sex and were it them, that they would also lie.
What I am SO SICK OF is that the American people seem not to be able to grasp that these impeachment hearings are about Clinton LYING UNDER OATH in both a Federal Sexual Harassment case, as well as in front of a Federal Grand Jury.
They conveniently forget the fact that until the dress was revealed to have physical "evidence" deposited by Clinton, he was depending upon a strategy of denying sex and calling Monica Lewinsky a liar, slut, stalker, and someone that came onto to him without his partaking of her tempting "fruit of sinful delight".. :0) Were there no dress, he would still be denying that anything ever happened that would display a pattern of sexual relationships with subordinates.
Now people can disagree as to whether or not his lying under oath is impeachable or not, but GOSH-DANGIT, it is not about details of his private sex life.
It is about the fact that Paula Jones was granted the right to sue Clinton by a 9-0 vote by the Supreme Court; was granted the right to question Clinton about other instances of sexual conduct/contact with gov't subordinates; was denied due process of her claim due to the willful lying of the defendant in his deposition; and finally, saw her case dismissed because of these lies and obstructions of justice. It is about whether or not we will see truth contorted and mangled to the degree that we are forced to alter the term, "The Truth, the HOLE Truth, and Nothing but the Truth". (no the highlighted word is not a typo... :0)
So let us argue about the whether or not it is worth distressing this economy or government over this, but let's stop BS'ing ourselves that it is about lying to Hillary and us about an affair with a White House intern.
It is about denial of due process in a Federal court case.
