Larry, I agree with you, it is quite a difference, and at 270 people (with one shift, presumably), FMK's numbers better be the right one.

A company can be profitable with 400 people at sales rate of $40 to $60 MM but not too much (I have added another 130 people for two additional shifts, assuming for the time being that on the assembly floor we have only some 65 persons per shift). Just look at the head count of companies and their sales (but keep out software out of this equation) and you will see that the successful ones have more then $200,000 per year in sales per employee. And typically, their net margins are 15% to 20% of sales, when very profitable.
