W.E: Makes little difference who's in the White House as long as people have hamburger in the skillet or have some freaking war going to worry us about our kids. Things are down on corporate profits. So far seven of the 30 companies that make up the Dow Jones industrial average -- Sears Roebuck, Johnson & Johnson, Boeing Co., J.P. Morgan, Proctor & Gamble, Merck & Co., Coca-Cola Co. -- have said their fourth-quarter profits will be disappointing. It may get much worse.
