Doug,

I don't follow the technicals of the market so I have no first hand knowledge of the short position in gold other than rumors. I am once again impressed with Bill Jackson's knowledge of electricity although I would correct the end of his scenario from an electrical stand point. If the short position is as high as rumors would have everyone believe than yes I would expect gold to go through the roof if and only if some Central Bank didn't rain on everyone's parade.

The trouble I have is that I have been reading these scenarios for too long and they never materialize. Kind of like the spin off shares of Maxam. But if this scenario does play out then there will be plenty of time to catch the boat IMHO so I will wait for it to unfold. I would also expect it to help companies like Maxam out tremendously who may be fighting extraction costs.
