Here's what happened to me at Schwab:
11/30/98 Placed order to sell EGGS at market at the open on the web, got confirmation within 3-5 minutes, volume was 27 million that day.
12/8/98 placed order to sell at market EGGS at 0933 also on the web, no confirmation for 20 min. Stock was 21 1/2 when order was placed. Volume that day 74K shares only. Called an hour later and was told that confirmation came late, at 0955, but that order was executed immediately and I had a "good fill", no explanation why no confirmation for 20 minutes. Trade executed by Schwab's own market maker! Needless to say, got filled at 20 3/4, close to day low!
Anybody else with similar problem?
