Cheeky,
You need to be carefull with the labels you are putting on folks.
I have read many posts by Mr. Ounce and have found them to be thoughtful and factual, same for Emory Alexander and Ken Salaets. You
said you are not a programmer so I won't expect you to have technical
answers.Consider however that these gentlemen and others asking questions and seeking the truth tend to be intelligent and to have backgrounds in IT,programming or management. They have some familiarity
with y2k issues and tend to give facts in addition to opinion. Why is it that those closest to the situation show the concern and those without expertise call y2k a sham? This thread has been a big disapointment for me.I do not see the thread founder justifying y2k
as a hoax.Certainly there are folks out there trying to make a buck,
hyping, scaming etc.but that does not preclude real and serious y2k issues. When JBE asked you a series of reasonable questions,he got nothing from you that could be considered serious.Ken Salaets said it best.

If traffic signals were the only issue, your world view indeed would be just peachy.
Unfortunately for the rest of us, there are more serious issues with which to contend. I
suspect that you are our of your league, but then, you knew that already, right?
