Dear ratan lal.... or anyone else.... actually the training i plan on getting is from a independent training center... the instructors are consultants who teach when they aren't on a contract... or during their free time.... i'm assuming that they are legit and worth the money... i am a petroleum engineer that just graduated and got layed off cuz of the oil price... that's my background.... i'm also assuming that i can handle computer programming... i programmed some pascal in highschool and some basic in elementary school.... now... i plan on studying ORCL/developer 2000 ... the cost for this course is 900.... they say you can get an entry level job that pays 40,000/yr on a contract basis.... then depending on how i feel i might take ORCL financial... the cost for this course is 1200.... he said you could start at 70,000 with this training.... ..... otherwise... i could switch from ORCL to SAP.... the cost for the SAP course is 2500 ... depending on if i can make the right connections to get hired at an entry level position... they say this start at around 60,000/yr and can get up to 200,000/yr after two years of experience... my goal is simple.... i need to make as much money as possible ... i am willing to travel or work odd hours... whatever it takes.... do i have my head on straight? is there a better route to take? if you have anymore input... please respond or e-mail me at.... chacko7@yahoo.com thanks, Saju
