Dave, I sent am e-mail request to that copy cat company in Indonesia. According to them the materials are all obtained in the USA and the actual product is assembled in Indonesia. They claim that the effective ingredient in the MUSE copy is "aphrostadil" "chemically identical to prostaglandin E1(PGE1)" My gut feeling is that the entire thing is a scam and someone is going to make a lot of money thinking they are going to get the real thing. Here is a copy of the e-mail I received: Hi, Thank you very much for your e-mail. I am glad to tell you that our products of Sylago and Erdys are indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction to achieve an erection before sexual intercourse. This system designed for home treatment Sylago contains 500 micrograms of sildenafil absolutely a generic name of active ingredients of VIAGRA. Erdys it contains 1000 microgram of Aphrostadil which is chemically identical to the naturally occuring eicosanoid prostaglandin E1 (PGE1). . Sylago and Erdys is a single use of home treatment of medicated transurethral system for the delivery of sildenafil or alprostadil to the male urethra is formed into a medicated pellet (micro-suppository measuring 1,4 mm in diameter by 3 mm to 6 mm in length) that resides in the tip of translucent hollow aplicator. Sylago and Erdys is administered by inserting the apllicator stem (not needle) into the urethra after urination. The pellet containing is delivery by depressing the applicator button. The components of the delivery system are contructed of medical grade polypropylene. Each dosage is packaged in an individual foil pouch. About 70% to 80% of active ingredients of sildenafil or alprostadil administered is absorbed within 5 to 10 minutes. The duration effect of erection is approximately 30 - 60 minutes. However the actual duration will vary from patient to patient. The maximum frequency of use is no more than 2 administration per-24 hours period. An overdosage may result in hypotension, presistent penile pain and possibly priapism that can result in permanent worsening of erectile dysfunction. Patients suspected of overdosage who develop these symptoms should be kept under medical supervision until systemic or local symptoms have resolved. Patients should be instructed how to administer Sylago or Erdys. A patient insert package must be given to each patient at initiation of Sylago or Erdys therapy. Patients and partners that using Sylago or Erdys should be informed that The system offers no protection from the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases. Patients or partners who use Sylago or Erdys should be counseled about the protective measures that are necessary to guard against the spread of sexually transmitted agents, including the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Human semen contains PGE1 but additional amounts may be present from Erdys administration (Not for Sylago). Partners who have experienced an extended period of sexual abstinence should be encourage to seek advice from a health care professional prior to resuming sexual intercourse. The use of waterbase lubricant may facilitate vaginal penetration. It is recomended that couples using Erdys or Sylago employ adequate contraception if the female partner is childbearing potential. There is no information of the effects on early pregnancy of PGE1 at the levels received by female partners. Erdys and Sylago has no contraceptive properties. Erdys and Sylago should not be used if the female partner is pregnant unless the couple uses a condom barrier. All of the ingredients and applicator comes from United States of America.
