No, I don't believe that news had been posted here, and I think it's significant.

My first reaction to Diamond's mp3 player was that it just didn't make sense, because you can only carry 60 minutes of music with you. I thought what it really needed was a built-in Clik! drive.

I believe that an mp3 player from Creative, with Clik!, could be a big seller. This could be the surprise "killer app" that establishes the Clik! medium.

While on the one hand it's kind of klugey to use a rotating disk to play mp3 files, it sure beats a) having to go back to your PC to download new music every time you get tired of the hour's worth you're carrying, or b) having to spend hundreds of dollars for just a few hours worth of Flash Memory.

Until Flash Memory prices come down to less than a dollar a megabyte, which I don't see happening for a couple of years, Clik! has a window of opportunity.
