Another split announcement soon? Not necessarily. All SUNW splits so far (3) have been in December so if history is to repeat itself, we will not have one until December 1999 at the earliest.

Also, does anyone know how many authorized shares SUNW has right now? Depending on the number authorized, shareholders might have to vote to increase the number before another split takes place--what CPQ had to do before its last split.
