Critter:

The only reason I said what I did is because I (as well as numerous other people I know well) personally spoke to the company and were led to believe numerous things which ,as it is now evident, were not true. If he did not single handedly do it then he sure supported it with his tales he shared with me and others. Go back and read old press releases and compare to quotes made by the company in newspapers about hemlo etc. etc. about the time of the run-up--if he did not participate then.... Where is the hemlo he spoke of? If you had hemlo type formations why would a financing at $7-8 get nixed (when the price hit $13 just a short time before that) and then the price fall to $2? Obviously I am not the only one who does not beleive these stories. The proof is in the pudding. If they had anything besides property equity it seems the share price should have settled above the $2 range. Now they are drilling in the bottom of some lake, I am not sure it is even on the same property that "had hemlo potential". Why would you not continue exploration on a piece of property in the same area if it had such potential and they majors were offering? Maybe because it did not.

During numerous conversations there were hints about "majors making offers". Offers on what? I obviously can not prove with documentation or video tape but I do know what I and many were told. Many people I know are still being told and led to believe things that repeatedly do not come to pass. The company admitted to an associate of mine on the phone recently that "the run-up in price last spring was a manipulation but he could not say by whom". How would he know that? The fact that the "company knows the people who manipulated the stock" is scary to me. Why would they know these people? My associate has nothing to gain or lose by saying or not saying anything and there is NO DOUBT what he told me is true. He just called up to see what the latest was--he owns no shares. Other associates report other incredible tales and they believe them despite the fact that "none" of them have occurred in the last 2 years.

All of this evidence does not cause me to conjure up new variations of the definitions credible and forthright!

As far as the president making a profit I can not prove that obviously. That does not mean that there is not a way to make money without selling just the shares that are registered in your name.

Referring back to your statement about TBT that would have been a nasty situation to be in. Nevertheless with my skill level at the time I was in this stock it was scary--it is all relative and there is nobody that could convince me in hindsite that I was not justified.

As far as your recommendation to invest in GIC'S I think not. I have taken my proceeds from CTQ (wish I still had some of that) and at current levels am in the black another 15-20K. So I will not be taking your advice. These are companies that publish regular drilling results or progress of some kind and do not lie to me when I get them on the phone. I sleep well at night despite the fact they are the exact same type of company that CBA was, they just have a "different" approach.

I do not wish Ken or anybody to lose money--in fact I hope he makes money and lots of it. I would be happy if he made $$ on this property. There is plenty of money out there in the world to be made. Based on my experience I was just sharing some information that I wish I had known before I got in (my own fault) rather than after I got in. I think that is one of the reasons for this forum.

Depending on where Ken got in CBA he may have made some money this past week. I think it was up a $1 or so. Like I said in my previous post, he did it once and he (or maybe just the people he knows of) could probably do it again. You just have to have some empathy for the people who got in at $11-13 with the thought of the "next Hemlo". Best of luck to Ken.
