Bill Vaughn said<< If a president assaults the law, congress has a sworn duty to uphold the constitution, parties notwithstanding.>> I do not consider peccadilloes as"assaults on the law" As for perjury--white lies to shield against a fanatic intrusion into the president's private life,is NOT a crime that at all justifies impeachment--this is pure and simply a meanspirited; and for fundamentalist christians,I also say this persecution of Clinton is "Anti-Christian" as it goes completely counter to the compassionate nature of Jesus and his message---this man was no small-minded nitpicking fanatic--so to the so-called "christian" rightwing of the republican party that are the driving force behind this impeach Clinton movement--they be christians in name only,and in fact are an embrassment to the teachings of Jesus.
