there have been quite a few "best bands". it all depends on taste. Some will say Metallica, some will say Queen, some will say Oasis. So it all depends on what type of music you like, BUT it doesn't mean to sat that the Beatles are the best because they influenced everyone. The best band would be the one that appeals to the most members of the public, across the music genre.
