sunw/dell are two totally differnt animals. that is y both great investments. both of these companies are very focus dell : effieciecy in their direct model. u know all that bs. sell LOTs of widgets at a small price and cater to small business. sunw: perhaps not as efficient as dell. sell FEW widgets at a HIGH price and make a lot of profit. Cater to bigger businesses. nothing in common except low end workstation and LOW END servers. This is why i heavily invested in both and that is diversification for me. investment in cpq/dell does not give me diversificaion. i do have cpq as of late but i will out of it soon and i m not commited to it. just intrested in a quick profit.
