You Guys are doing a fine job of trying to explain dos and disaster ercovery paritions. Something I have done since the OS2 days is install a minimal NT Setup about 100M on the second physical and use OS/2 BM to boot off it then you have true NTFS support for recovery. I think the best way for Clarence to really understand all this is READ. The PM users manual is a great resource for those wishing to understand this stuff. I'm sure there are plenty of resources out there on dos.

I have seen no one mention the shell or the comspec variables and really introduce what a command interpreter does.
