I would like to hear GH expertise/opinions on the KOB play now that water has killed the well. There was much talk on the thread about the 'big Kahuna'. I am not saying that it is, or is not, an economic well. Just wondering about GH opinion on the fact that the water showed itself after approximately 2 weeks and snuffed the well out, as opposed to say, 2 months or never, such as the case with the Amoco sour gas well blowout near Drayton Valley that Boots & Coots capped after, unfortunately, losing two men on the capping job.
What can we safely make an 'educated guess' about?
GH, I also noticed that some reports from the area (not sure again, how reliable... a person sometimes has to verify these things themselves) that oil was also being blown in the air. Now, whether someone confused gas condensate for oil is a mute point.
