Craig, Once the files have been converted from their "raw" format to the .mpeg3 format it should be as rapid as writing any file. I have digitized some favorites from CD to .mp3 and the process is quite slow, as is downloading a 4 or 5 MB file from a website on a 28.8k phone line. I will try tonite and report back. Ausdauer
