I recall George Bush wagging his finger in my face and informing me that he was not aware of any arms for hostages deal. Immediately afterwards George Schultz (Reagan's former Secretary of State) and Caspar Weinberger (Reagan's former Secretary of Defense) said that was a lie. That Bush was in the room with them when it was discussed. Where is the indignation about that lie? Where is the holding of Bush to higher standard? Oh yeah and that was a REAL lie. You know about foreign policy and national security not getting a blow job. The democrats to their credit just let it go and got on with running the country. Not paralyzing us and turning us on one another.
