you've done a movie? Explain, if you would
I was a "dancing extra" in "Winchell" , the recent HBO movie. The scene was the Stock club, 1929. We shot it on the "Queen Mary" in Long Beach. One day, in Tux, 16 hours, for a $100. I am glad I did it, enjoyed it, will never do another one! There is a lot of this here. My friends, who Lindy, get a lot of commercial work, and some videos. Most of the kids I dance with are about 24, I am the only "old fart" dancing Lindy. The bands all come through here. We are the swing capitol of the world. I dance 7 nights a week to swing bands here in LA, and travel all over the country for weekend's and contests. I am leaving right now for Pasadena to dance to "Eric Exstrand" at the Twin Palms, then on to the "Derby" in Hollywood to finish the evening with 'Jumping Jimes", a good 8 piece "Jump Blues" band. They should break out next year. They are really hot in LA.
