I saw a presentation about WebTV and I was impressed at how close
it was to a NC. Yes, I think WebTV would be great for those who
want to browse the web without having to deal with PC's (some
very technical people I know love using it as well because it is
so simple).

Though they are very similar I think the NC has a solid place in
the enterprise. Again it will be used for those (unlike many of us)
who don't need/want the complexity of a PC. As PC's have improved
in capibility they have also increased in complexity. I think the
world (for the next few years) will separate into two camps, those
who want a lot of power and are willing to put up with the complexites
will have Workstations and PC's. Those who are willing to put up
with a *little* less functionality and control will be getting
NC's and WebTV's.

I don't think there is much real competition between these, just
different strokes for different folks.
