You are supposed to buy low and sell high. The market may be high, but YF is low. If tax-loss December isn't going to be the all time low for YF, then we are truly in trouble. If you own it and want to get out, you would do it now. Why bother selling in January, no matter what new news emerges. You have your chance now. Everyone who's in, starting in January, should be long-term long on YF. I am. O.
