Intel, Other Tech Stocks Liked by Cedd Moses, Barron's Reports
New York, Dec. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Intel Corp., Altera Corp.,
Novellus Systems Inc. and Sanmina Corp. are among the technology
companies liked by hedge fund manager Cedd Moses of Aggressive
Growth Partners, Barron's reported. Moses said that the
semiconductor group, including Intel -- the world's largest
chipmaker -- was hit particularly hard by the Asian economic
turmoil and, though the stocks have rallied, they're still
selling at a substantial discount to their expected growth rates
during the next several years. Moses also likes health care and
biotech-related companies, such as Sunrise Assisted Living Inc.,
Biogen Inc. and Immunex Corp., which stand to gain as baby
boomers get older and their health care needs increase, he told
Barron's.
