Hello, I have a software question for those of you who trade at home for a living. I assume that most people are using a 56K modem these days, probably with dual monitors. My question is this: Given that you most likely will be connected to one of the high-end trading softwares (i.e. MB Trader, RealTick, CyberTrader, etc, etc,) for trades, level II, etc, how do you also at the *same* time use the Web for surfing SI, Yahoo etc. to help sniff out the next play?
I am not currently a day-trader, but I often make several 'day-trades' using datek while at work. I am curious because I find SI and Yahoo valuable resources for information. If I ever decided to day-trade for real, I know I'll need to be connected to one of these level II capable trading platforms, but don't quite understand how to maintain a connection to these information resources on the web. Do you guys use two modems w/ dual lines maybe?
any responses much appreciated, Thanks! |
