No, Anthony, most Americans do not want this process to go forward. The people who insist on pushing this issue will soon reap what they have sown. I know of many people who will no longer tolerate the lack of vision demonstrated by those who wish to polarize this country. Fundamentalist, (lets call it what it is, fundamentalism) wish a return to a fictional American culture that never existed. The shadowless views expressed are literalism, spun in an invasive, dogmatic, & moralistic manner, without regard for the inclusion, acknowledgment, or respect voiced within the truths & values which the majority of American people support. The current 'sexless' Republican leadership is choosing a path that is not popularly supported & will not soon be forgiven.
