OFF TOPIC -- Agreed it's important that Hyde is not President.
It is also pretty important that a clown like Livingston who made a total mess of the budget process this year not be a heartbeat away.
I suppose Hyde was not put to the test of interrogation under oath about his sexual misconduct. But as to whether he lied on TV (a mortal sin, no doubt), isn't he the same Mr. Hyde who tried to dismiss as a "youthful indiscretion" a multi-year affair with a married woman who had three children, at a time when Hyde was in his 40s and in public office, which affair contributed to the breakup of a marriage? Does it depend on what the definition of "youthful" is? And did he even tell the truth about his own marital status to the then Mrs. Snodgrass? See
