Cirruslvr, re: "stick in a K6 or K6-2 266". I wholeheartedly agree with your concept but the K6-2/300 is a better buy. For <$15 more, you get 100MHz access to memory and 10% more CPU power. It makes a noticable difference with games like Quake. It's also a good idea to have your mobo and RAM at 100MHz before buying a K6-3. If your Sharpie arrives and doesn't work, it's nice to be able to say "well it runs fine at 100MHz with my K6-2/300" Craig
