robin, i do believe that amzn is overvalued. i'd believe that if it was $40. fair value, imho, is around $20. however, i don't short so my profile is a little misleading. however i do go long puts and i've had 3 expire worthless on amzn.
i noticed you didn't mention i was long puts in cmb. yes, that 1000%+ return much more than paid for all my amzn losses and i'm not sure i'm done with amzn yet. and yes, i sold out after the 1000%+ gain so i can't lose it.
now that your ad hominem attack has been addressed, sorry i don't post what you believe is real analysis like "gee, stock up $3, aren't we smart" or "the trend is your friend" or "nobody cares about fundamentals, just buy."
for the record, my only put position is on nvls when it was $55. i own june 40 puts and expect nvls to be in the low $20s before expiry.
i hope to buy add to my put collection some of the following: cdwc, mu, altr and cmb (for an encore).
