I am opposed to Clinton's impeachment, however, I have accepted that he will be impeached. I do not think there is a majority in the Senate to find him guilty and be removed from office. I also do not think he will resign. With that said, I have come to the conclusion the above is not all bad because it will cut back on government in 1999 and this will benefit business because there will be less intervention. Unfortunately for a period of time in 1999 the market will fall but look for this to be a buying opportunity. Selling will be based on emotion therefore look for companies who have good fundamentals.
