Ambassador Bill vandenhuevel, former UN ambassador, and now "consultant" at Herbert Allen's Allen & Company is, I believe, also related by marriage---at least so says gb on Yahoo.
As to what's going on, I think something's up with ARTT. LU is a big player there. And, supposedly, WCII to talk of international plans. ARTT has European licenses. So, perhaps LU COO says "here's the first $500million, and our new overseas partner, ARTT, or something like that. At same time, ARTT annnounces the long-sought financing ex-LU is now a done deal.... Well, maybe this is just a dream. But, I'm long both, and happy with my core holding in WCOM for the moment.
