Jerry, I appreciate your posts, especially since you detail what you did and the reasons you did it. A lot of people on this thread are long term holders and, for that reason, see little benefit in TA. However, there are also a lot of us who want to learn about trading as well and most appreciate technical reasons for entering or exiting a position.
I don't know who did the ridicule, but I would encourage you to ignore it and keep posting, since frequently, those who ridicule already know everything and have a huge disdain for any new knowledge. <g>
Finally, everybody who trades or invests successfully follows a system, be it FA or TA, it doesn't matter. What matters is conservation and growth of capital. Thanks for all your good posts.
