Just forget that they are "mutual funds" and think of them as index options that you can buy and sell like stocks. I'm intrigued. You can always buy a "Bear Fund" in your IRA, maybe even find some other funds that are NDX and SPX based. But these ProFund babies are leveraged 2:1 for any move up or down... that's the real appeal. Sitting on SPY @ breakeven... wanted to exit @ 116-13/32 for the traditional pizza tip but DATEK made me enter 116-7/16 LIMIT 'cuz it wouldn't accept 1/32s. Right. It hit 116 and 13/32, NOT 7/16, and promptly went back down! Now lunch-time... Think I'll go buy the bloody pizza anyway (^_^) -Steve
