The more I think of it the more I think upset comments have come re: Viet's sale is because we view it as leaving our true believers fold! "How could anyone dare sell AXC just when teh fun is starting?"
Well, anyways, I did want to reply to his being bothered re: no AXC bears prowling around--"Why can't we have some balance?" As one who has probably the most to lose if AXC goes down much, I have to ask this question more than anyone-- Why could AXC go way down in price instead of WAY WAY up? Discarding temporary selloffs, which are unpredictable, irrational and usually shortlived anyway, when I look at AXC's fundamentals, knowing my net worth is at stake, I just can't find any substantial clouds to spoil my view of a rather large pot of gold at the end of the stock ticker rainbow! These aren't the ravings of a self deluded raging bull, I've lost plenty of money on story stocks and ill timed momentum plays before, and have seen time and time again how patience in buying great companies at cheap prices pays off handsomely time after time. Warren Buffet would love this baby if only he didn't stay away from all technology issues. It's got proprietary product that no one else can match-- and here I'm talking about it's existing line of products! Well, I could go on, but I wish I could convince all that we're not a self deluded bunch here who'll be cheated by the market. AXC is company with the most potential share price appreciation(taking KM, Mitsu lawsuit, Digital TV, etc) for the least risk (considering it's current product line and licensing stream as a bottom valuation equating the current share price and more) I've been able to find- ever. I'm going to closely monitor this baby, but I think we could all sit on this issue for many years, until we cash out for whatever dream we started investing for in the first place. Patience, patience... I think a lot more brokers are going to be calling and cold calling and whispering the name "Ampex" this year. |
