Hi Jim,

Take a look at TICKI as well as TICK. The TICKI is the tick on dow stocks alone. Interesting, as the NYSE TICK was plunging, the TICKI was oscillating about a mean of zero. I have seen this on several down days lately. Not sure about all the implications, but it is another piece of this puzzle. I have still found no source for the exact rules for declaring a TICK...ie. if a block is for sale and must be filled with a bunch of smaller orders, then, does the sale count as one or many with regard to the tick?
