>Gerard, on this issue, we have to deal with the conflicting advice of moral and political hygienist Rev. Pilch and the fearlessly sarcastic Les as in..."Christ was a socialist".<

So repulsive to see you here 247365.

The conflict is quite easily resolved when we recognize the term "socialist" for the anachronism it is when it is applied to Christ. It is also resolved when we understand what socialism is and after failing to find it in the Narrative describing Christ's life.

>Les's advice conflicts somewhat with the classic Vietnam-era "Kill a commie for Christ", I'm sure the Rev. Pilch would agree with that last one.<

Well you are sure about a great many things, and wrong about most. This is typical of filthy liberals.

>Good luck on this particular dialog, you may find it less than pleasant.<

His post submitted several serious points by use of sarcasm. I am prone to address them all, but inasmuch as they were submitted with sarcasm have determined I haven't the time. Were he to have taken your lead, that is were he to have spouted unalloyed stupidity, then I would have responded. Were he to have seriously submitted his excellent points, then I would have responded to them. Since he did neither, I will not respond.

>The local Christian community seems to be a bit touchy about the correct "inerrant" interpretation of the Bible and other matters of faith. Leviticus rules, and all that.<

When filthy liberals use the Bible to justify their perversions, they should be in position to defend their actions. You do nothing of the sort. You merely make corrupt general statements about Christians and Leviticus and then when challenged, place your head back into your nether region to sulk about 'inerrancy'. I have never used the Bible or religion here unless some filthy liberal has attempted to use it against me or my position. As is typical of filthy liberals, you have done this and have been kicked in the mouth for it.

>If you can profess the right politics, though, you might escape the wrath of the local charitable Christian crowd.<

He will escape either way, as I simply am not interested.
