Martin,

Considering that nobody but a select few read this board, I guess my apologies go to you and Alex and a few others for making a very bad call....Sorry. I guess that's the wonderful thing about charting....history always repeats itself.

There have been all sorts of wrenches thrown into the works lately.

1) Mattel was rumored to want to take over ATVI but has opted for TLC today instead (funny....I can't see why they would have wanted ATVI....Fisher Price meets Quake II? Tickle me Elmo meets Elexis Sinclair?....) TLC has kids games, which is what Mattel wants.

2) Mattel stock fell on earnings warnings, taking down TLC with it.
That can't be very appealing to shareholders of TLC...they've yet to approve the merger. Taking down the rest of the game sector. Fall in the Dow and Nasdaq couldn't have helped either.

3) MSFT has just announced that they have bought out the FIT division of FASA...the division responsible for making Mechwarrior products. Big gun competing with ATVI....don't really respect them for gaming though.

3) Heavy Gear and the WWII sim, Fighter Squadron slipped.

4) Sin got screwed.

What to do now?...Cabela's Big Game hunter 3D is a big seller. As is Tenchu. There's no doubt that ATVI will be able to book revenues for the quarter, but how many returns they will get back is unclear. Console games may save the day yet. Huge volumes of games being sold accelerating towards Christmas....I had figures...I'll try to post later.

Take care and good luck.

Tom
