Hi Rami,
There must be some info out there but I can't find out anything. It is funny that all of a sudden both of these issues junped several points in as many days. Perhaps some of the investors who have stock in the company which bought out CalFed snapped up these shares.

It would be justice if the gov't had to pay for changing their mind after getting the sound banks to buy up the weak ones. There are several other examples where congress and the president changed the law which caused problems in the markets. One which comes to my mind is when they changed the tax laws on writing off real estate.
all of a sudden properities flooded the market since the tax advantage was gone. This in turn many banks to fail and out economy went into a ressation. All due to the wisdom of our leaders. The only thing I don't like about the CalFed law suit is that if they win it will be the Gov't (the tax payer) which will pay the bill when it should be those who voted for the legislation which hurt the banks.
