John: I didn't evaluate "Norton 2000". However, since it was developed by experienced professional software developers who have produced several other worthwhile products, I sincerely doubt that it's "worthless". I'll bet it's one of the more robust products of its type available. My "Amen, brother" was in response to your comment that I've wasted part of my life. The good news is that it's my life. To waste or not. EDIT: I started wondering why you reacted the way you did. It appears to stem from my comment about the reported non-compliant files possibly not actually being non-compliant. Somehow, you translated that into all Y2K products I've reviewed are worthless. My goodness, that's a big step. If you think all Y2K products will always and forevermore report absolutely correct information with no errors, then I suppose you're better off thinking all Y2K products are worthless. TED
