&#147Intuit intends to provide free solutions if changes are required to Quicken 98 and future versions as a result of further Year 2000 compliance testing. For those customers that are affected, a free solution will be available for download into Quicken 98.&#148

So, I guess you'll have to check back at another time. With or without DiscoverY2K, the result would be the same. When mentioning availability for many of their upgrades, Intuit does mention June 1999. Perhaps updates for Q98 will be available then. They're very good about keeping deadlines. If I learn anything more, I'll post a note here.
