Noel and All,

I know it's just semantics but perception is everything. QCOM is not a story stock anymore. That was a couple of years ago, when people weren't sure the technology was going to work. We now know it works and works great. They are now a show me stock, show me earnings.

News:

In the Lucent First Annual Report, on page 26 under wireless, after listing customers Sprint, PrimeCo, Cox and AT&T they say:

"Most of these customers' networks employ a rapidly growing digital technology called Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA). This advanced technology is being widely adopted as an industry standard, and Lucent is setting the pace in its development. We are currently installing more than 30 CDMA networks including, most recently, a wireless network in South Korea."

They go on to mention TDMA and GSM as part of their breadth, but CDMA takes the headline and the emphasis.

MA BELL IS PROUD of QCOM and so are we!

Good luck tomorrow, may have some sell on news but up long term.

Bruce
