>>>I'm familiar with Isaiah, BTW, and the people get the leadership they deserve. <<<

That said; the last time I was in DC I forgot how depressing that town is. The human side to it is pressure, loneliness, lack of privacy, betrayal, ect. and a miserable marriage or so I've heard; at least in the intimacy area. The White House is stuck in the center of town kind of like a store front window and all the buildings were designed to intimidate foreign dignitaries. It's really a drab existence. 2 blocks from the Whitehouse people sleeping on the sidewalk.

The other half of the book of Isaiah deals with restoration forgiveness, and a future full of blessings. As far as Clinton's relationship is with God; the good Lord knew he was going to mess up B/4 he was ever born. I am a born again believer and personally I would like to see him challenge the entire nation to clean up our morals beginning with himself.( If he did this I would leap for joy and say drop the whole thing ) I saw where he explained to the Israelis that part of "his faith" requires him to forgive others before his own sins are forgiven. As a Christian one might therefore assume this whole episode was about Clinton harboring unforgiveness against his enemies and him needing to reach this point to realize he must forgive others before his own sins are forgiven. Without going into a lot of detail maybe the Lord is going to pull an "end around" on the last play of the half. Sure hope so !!!!!!
