FIELD ACTIVITIES / Elk Resources,(operator), Stanford Oil & Gas Westminster Resources, Richland Petroleum, Hilton Petroleum, Kookaburra Resources, Paramount Resources and Berkley Petroleum. Update #4 East Lost Hills Bellevue #1 Well CALGARY, ALBERTA--Significant progress has been made on well control operations at the Bellevue #1 well at East Lost Hills, California. All debris has been removed from the wellsite and flow from the well was diverted to two burn pits on December 10, 1998. Surface containment facilities consisting of separators and tankage were installed and began collecting and separating hydrocarbons and water from the well on December 13, 1998. Natural gas is currently being flared while liquid hydrocarbons and water are being collected in the burn pits and above ground storage tanks for trucking to processing and disposal facilities.
